Eventually, he left the series to train at the LAMDA (London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art). he first debuted in the theater as Al in the stage act- Eight Miles High in the year 2008.In 2009, he was cast in the musical called Spring Awakening.
"Robert Sheehan and Lauren Socha have both been nominated as individuals - do you think they can win? I think they're both obviously fantastic, really, really strong actors. But yeah, I think it will be pretty exciting."Will it change a lot of stuff? "What about Robert Sheehan leaving the show - is it weird for you? Do you think it can win 'Best Drama Series' two years in a row? I don't know, there's some pretty good, stiff competition, as there was last year. "Joe's playing Rudy - is he a similar character to Nathan, or is it a different group dynamic? The analogy I always think of is that he's less like the frontman, more like the crazy drummer - Keith Moon or something like that! That was quite a challenge."Will we see Alisha and Simon's romance begin to develop? "In a classic way where they just do something stupid!
It's Lauren's second time being nominated which is amazing. I think they've got stiff competition as always with the BAFTAs but I think they definitely earned their place there."There was a massive twist at the end of the Christmas special - do you know anything about the new powers yet? It's just nice to get nominated and try and enjoy the ceremony."The show's up against as well was really successful and it's that kind of show... "Robert and Lauren are both nominated as well - how do you rate their chances? But Joe Gilgun's come in and he's doing a great job. "There's going to be an online film where we say goodbye to Nathan and hello to Rudy - can you tell us anything about that? That's all I can say."There was a big twist at the end of the Christmas special with the group swapping their powers - do they definitely have new abilities now? "Well, I think they probably set out thinking that they would be, but... "What sort of things will the group face this year? "So, what would you say to get fans excited about the new series? The scripts are great and I think the ideas are there and it's just more ! Obviously you never know, and I've only seen the first three scripts. The standard's been so high the last two years, so I can't see why it won't be again. "The Philips British Academy Television Awards will be held in London on Sunday.

Antonia Thomas, the beautiful actress from the series Misfits might have had many relationships but her most talked about relationship was with her co-actor from Misfits series, Iwan Rheon.
We spotted Antonia Thomas (Alisha) at the recent BAFTA Nominees Party, so we collared her by the canapés for a two-minute chat. It's just so nice that the industry and the general public has recognised it as something that's a bit of fun."The show keeps getting better and better. But I think, as I say, credit to Howard Overman's writing, he's a clever man and I think he'll find ways to fill the void and find new characters to take his place."You've got Rudy coming, played by Joe Gilgun. Simon's probably one of the characters who's developed the most over the series - will we see him continue to change in the new episodes? Obviously he needs to finish that journey to becoming the Superhoodie character. And also to kind of try and make the present Simon become the future Simon, if you know what I mean - have all those little beats where you can show a little flicker of it...
And then we thought we'd give Iwan Rheon (Simon) a call for some more has been nominated for 'Best Drama Series' - congratulations! "Credit to [executive producer] Howard Overman's amazing writing - he's just a bit of a genius, really! "[Joe's] a very fantastic actor, which is really exciting."So can being BAFTA-nominated again! He's different to Robert, but he's got this brilliant energy - he's got a hell of an engine on him! I haven't actually seen all the scripts yet but you do see him become a lot more confident and having this ambition to become this superhero character."You've been able to play both the future Simon and the present Simon - was that fun? The difficulty was - because the statuses were going from one to, like, ten - to then also keep that sense of Simon in that really confident character. They're sort of together now in this new series."In the last series, the group finished their community service, but Lauren recently posted a photo on Twitter of you wearing your orange jumpsuits again - which I'm very happy about because it wouldn't be the same without them. "So can you give us any hints about how the guys end up doing community service again?

"I think they've got good shots, so I hope they win."Have you got any plans for the ceremony? "It's always a bit nervewracking, even if you try and tell yourself, 'Nah, I'm not going to be nervous, it doesn't matter anyway'. I think it's going to be fun."You're filming the third series of at the moment - is it strange without Robert? He's really funny and he's different, but in a good way, and it's in a way that the show is moving forward. "Yeah, everybody's got a new power."Can you tell us anything at all? We've seen odd powers and odd villains in the past - can you tease anything about what we can expect this series? There's loads of powers and the powers start coming out even more again this series. From what I've read, there's some really great ideas that Howard's come up with and the team's come up with. "Do you think the show could be up for a BAFTA again next year? It's exciting."If does win on Sunday, how will you celebrate? The ceremony will be broadcast from 8pm on BBC One.
